Jörn Kraus

Jörn Kraus beendete das Studium der Allgemeinen Informatik an der Technischen Fachhochschule in Berlin im Jahre 1996 mit Diplom Abschluss. Während des Studiums und anschließend arbeitete er 6 Jahre im Herz- und Diabetes-Zentrum NRW als Netzwerkadministrator mit dem Schwerpunkt Netzwerk Infrastruktur. Im Jahre 2001 wechselte er zur Firma BDG GmbH. Dort war er 8 Jahre als Projektleiter für Security Projekte verantwortlich. Sein Hauptaufgabengebiet lag im Bereich Firewall, VPN (IPSec und SSL) und IDP. Seit dem Jahre 2005 ist er Zertifizierter Juniper Trainer (JNCI). Im Zuge der Tätigkeiten als Trainer für Juniper Produkte rückte auch der Bereich Infrastruktur wieder mehr in sein Tätigkeitsfeld. Im Juni 2009 erfolgte der Wechsel zu ScanSource Communications, damals noch Algol Europe. Hier liegt sein Schwerpunkt auf der Abhaltung von zertifizierten Juniper Trainings. Diese umfassen sowohl Infrastruktur Themen wie Switching und Routing als auch Security Themen wie Firewalling, SSL-VPN, IDP.
