Cavell deliver 1st French WiMax Forum training
We successfully launched the French language program for WiMax Forum® Certified training ™ with an RF Engineer course in Brussels. Participants came from France, Africa, and Belgium and enjoyed 4 packed days of preparation for the WiMax Forum ® certification exam in July 2008.By delivering the course in French, Cavell and the WiMAX Forum can extend their training reach across all francophone countries in the EMEA region. This course is targeted at students who are planning a WiMAX deployment, and who need the skills to design the network, balancing the requirements of service quality (including throughput and performance) with minimum capital and operations cost. The emphasis is on the design of the RF access network, including base station engineering and siting, and propagation analysis to serve fixed and mobile subscriber stations.
Raising donations for Myanmar
Cavell Associate Luis Ximenez Gomez has recently successfully raised 2,200 Euros on behlaf of the International Commitee for theRed Cross destinedfor the ICRC mission in Myanmar in response to the devastation by Cyclone Nargis.
Luis raised this donation by climbing Mount Elbrus and his hard work will contribute to the rebuilding of homes, purification of contaminated waters, reunite families, medicines, clothes & food for the victims. Truly a humanitarian act for those who are really in trouble.
Cavell launches WiMax Forum Certified Training
The Cavell Group is pleased to announce it will be offering WiMAX Forum Certified Training in the EMEA region.
Developed with its partner Doceotech and WiMAX Forum, this series of courses allow engineers and managers to develop detailed knowledge of WiMAX standards and technologies. Two of the intensive courses, Boot Camps, lead to an exam that allows the individual to become certified by the WiMAX Forum as an WiMAX Forum RF Engineer or Core Engineer.
In addition to English the Cavell Group will offer the courses in French and Spanish, including certification exams lead by Cavell’s team of experienced multilingual instructors.
