Luis Ximenez Gomez

Based in Spain, Luis is a senior Network Engineer with extensive experience of network implementation, testing, and operation. His credentials include a number of Cisco technical certifications (CCIP, CCNP, and CCDP) as well as Juniper engineering qualification at the JNCIE level. In addition, he is a Juniper Networks Certified Instructor (JNCI). Luis has many years of hands-on experience in the industry with UUNET, MCI/Worldcom, and AT&T, and has recently completed a project as a Juniper Resident Engineer working at Telefonica. He has an impressive record of successful accomplishments in network implementation and support on a number of high-profile projects throughout Europe.

Luis Ferreira

Luis is a Network Engineer with extensive experience of network design, testing, implementation and auditing in both Service Provider and Enterprise networks. He is Juniper certified as a JNCIE-M/T (May 2008) and JNCIS-E and has also experience with Cisco routers. Since 2006, he has been collaborating with Cavell, lately working as design and implementation engineer at Verizon Business and during 2006 he did contracts as Juniper professional services engineer for international service providers (Saudi Telecom, Nextiraone, Bezeq Int.). Luis started his networking industry carrier in 2001 at Siemens Communications Carrier Services Group. Prior to that he was teaching networking at ISEL an engineering school in Lisbon for 10 years. In addition, he is a Juniper Certified Instructor (JNCI) since 2004 and he has been delivering some training every year for customers like Westcon in South Africa, Carphone Warehouse and BT in UK, Telefonica in Spain and Portugal Telecom.

Bassili Ataya

Bassili has over 20 years experience in the communications industry in both commercial management and technical roles. He has deep experience in budgeting, forecasting and capacity planning functions that tie together product and network. At WorldCom he led planning and implementation for backbone projects and then led a 100 person team for local network planning throughout Europe (fiber, SDH, Class 5 voice). He also has held a variety or product marketing and commercial roles in both Worldcom and Motorola. He was chosen by Carlyle Group to be an entrepreneur in residence in 2001 where he helped evaluate deal flow in the telecom's area. Early in his career he led implementation teams for microwave networks. Bassili holds the Juniper Networks engineering qualification JNCIS.

Timo Krjukoff

Timo is a Senior Consultant and Instructor based in Göteborg, Sweden, and has been active in the industry since the early 1990’s. He has worked as design engineer, training material developer/trainer and on several occasions has additionally lead or managed a wide variety of communication projects both for the public sector and for large Swedish and multi-national corporations. Timo has in-depth experience of network planning, analysis and design, as well as extensive expertise in competence analysis and competence planning within the technical IT training field. He also has broad experience of developing training curricula and training materials in this area. Timo has the following Juniper certifications: JNCIS-M, JNCIA-WX, JNCI (Juniper Networks Certified Instructor).

Colin Finn

Colin is an experienced engineer with an MSc in Microelectronic & Information Systems. Coupled with excellent interpersonal, management and troubleshooting skills, he has consistently proven himself to be an effective team member during his 18 years in the industry, whether dealing efficiently with day-to-day responsibilities or managing crisis events. His career started with GPT Ltd in his home city of Liverpool and from there, Colin went on to work in variety of networking roles for several UK based multinationals and Liverpool John Moores University before taking a career break to travel. This eventually brought him to Spain where he is currently based, although more recently he has been working on Cavell projects in The Netherlands.

Axel Beghin

Axel is an accomplished entrepreneur in the wireless businesses. He has strong business analytical skills backed by technical knowledge. Axel successfully founded a fixed wireless business in Belgium which was sold to Clearwire. He also has held executive positions at Broadnet and France Telecom (Mobistar). As a consultant he has led projects in Morroco, Algeria and Belgium. Axel is experienced in setting product and technical strategy, vendor selection (including RFP generation/review), network deployment, license acquisition and regulatory strategy. His particular area of expertise is broadband wireless (mesh, WiMax and LTE). Axel is a WiMAX Forum RF Network Engineer(TM), and holds two masters in Economic Science and Telecommunications Engineering.
